There is someone with dark glasses but I can't find that character.
How about Dr. Bunsen Honeydew for Dave?
Then again, we would need to negotiate with Disney!
OMG! How about WB cartoon characters?
Bugs "Ben" Bunny?

Still thinking of others.
I'm thinking of Muppets from the movies not PBS, etc.

:smiley_heartbounce: But which Muppet to replace each host?
My choices would offend the hosts.

Re: WHAT HAPPENED TO 40 GUNS???

This sort of banter was never allowed on the TCM Forum. I know there are people who like the TCM hosts. I can do without them. AI just might change everything. I like the lady's voice at the end of this spot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs-vvsYj9_w But could AI go on cruises??? "I'm sorry,...

Re: AFI's 25 GREATEST MOVIE MUSICALS OF ALL TIME

You knew I'd go there, right? The second hit after "The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A." I don't remember Funny Face (the movie) I guess. I love Donna Fargo. I don't expect others to (cotton) agree. Disabuse is probably a mistamenor out here. I am not a fan, and you can't make me be one,...

Yes, there is a NO song by Doris Day. Try not to act surprised.
It was originally a 10 inch LP. That was probably not common back in the 1960s.

For some reason, my first thought when I saw this actress's face was "Agnes Moorehead?".
I’ve never seen Agnes Moorehead’s thighs. The face is puzzling.

Re: AFI's 25 GREATEST MOVIE MUSICALS OF ALL TIME

It's difficult to pick the "greatest" American musicals. Musica;s are my favorite movie genre, but I tend to go with ones I like rather than ones that scholars and critics would call "great." So, my favorite American musicals are: 1. Cabaret [probably no surprise to anyone] 2. V...

I wouldn’t worry too much Thompson. This isn’t the old forum. Moderation is moderate. Up here in Northern California, we have a new baseball team in Oakland. Not MLB. Don’t know what it’s called. We also have a new WNBA team. The is the final season for the A’s in Oakland. Then Sacramento until they...

Okay, Jimi is 66 years old. I lived 17 miles outside the city of Napa, California. That said, we had one movie theater, with one screen, and a drive in. The only film I saw on the big screen from the list is Mary Poppins. The Sound of Music on broadcast TV along with The Wizard of Oz. There are a fe...
