Thanks, Chris. I'm sure I asked for a reminder for "Zulu", but yours is the only one I received. :)

Speaking of TV work, Luke, Ahn, and Loo all appeared as Caine's masters in "Kung Fu", my earliest recollections of them.

Growing up, I loved "Get Smart", "All in the Family", and "Green Acres". I did watch "M*A*S*H" for a while, but grew sick of it, and didn't even watch the finale. My favorite is "Seinfeld", with a good explanation: I see myself in all four characters...

TCM is a business, and it must do whatever is necessary for its survival. A few dozen souls' opinions don't really matter when they look at the bottom line. Should they be trying to attract younger viewers? Sure. But the movies I now enjoy are considered hokey by most of the populace under the age o...

I injured my brain yesterday trying to think of a Chinese-American actor besides Keye Luke, but came up empty. You gave it away with the "Steel Helmet" reference! It's Richard Loo!

Sorry to hear of all your troubles, Anne. Hope things get better soon. Now I'll just go kick myself a few times for whining incessantly about my horribly sun-burned forehead.

Thanks, Hollis. I usually download the schedules as soon as they come up, then go through and ask for reminders. Guess I'll just write down what I want to watch from now on. I need the exercise anyway.

I absolutely love the new schedule, best I've seen in months. The musical shorts each Wednesday overnight have to be among the highlights. Plenty of movies I haven't seen, and many of my old favorites returning. Now if my reminders will just start working again.

No, Lynn, it's my one and only address for at least the past five years. I can't even remember when I switched anymore. When I logged in to TCM, I was logged in to the Message Boards too. I still get my monthly schedules, schedule changes, and even received two replies when I complained about the qu...

Sure to get some groans around here, but I love Jimmy Durante. Comedian, actor, musician, composer, host, and overall nice guy, he had a good 20-year movie career through 1950, then returned for a few from 1957-1963, culminating with the bucket-kicking in "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World". Bo...

I guess they've determined that my email address is not valid? It's not even one of those throwaway accounts from Google or Yahoo. I'm still not getting any reminders. Monday evening I again asked for one tonight, nothing. Weird. Maybe it's payback for asking for "Big City" too many times....

Hey, Hollis. Yeah, I've seen "Grand Theft Parsons" a couple of times on IFC. I love it. Had a friend in college that was a huge Parsons fan, and thought of him while watching. IFC, I'm not so big on anymore. It used to be wall-to-wall movies, but now they seem to show a lot of the same fil...

I've missed a couple of reminders in the past, but I don't think I received a single one this month or last. Still bummed that I missed "The Kid" and "The Great Rupert".
