I'm looking forward to seeing THE MASK OF DIMITRIOS (1944) tonight at 8 PM EST, as it's been many years now.
Can't pass up an opportunity to see Lorre and Greenstreet sharing the screen.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
Just watched Titanic (1953). I found it to be rather "ho-hum" and even with the suspension of belief, the ending was especially ridiculous.
Stanwyck and Webb did play very well together though. And Thelma Ritter remains memorable, as always.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
Yesterday, I watched The Last Voyage (1960). I put it in the DVD player as I was going to sleep after a long day, fully expecting to drift off 15 minutes in. But no, it turned out to be a pretty riveting film. I remained on the edge of my seat for the duration. http://i53.tinypic.com/2vki32t.jpg

Enjoy, take your time looking around, and I hope you'll let us know if we can be of any help. Thank you for taking the trouble to become a...

Re: *CANDIDS*
I've been on this thread for several days now (off and on, of course) and am only on page 71. I keep finding names and faces that I wasn't previously acquainted with and getting sidetracked reading about them. Or else I'd probably be a bit further along. :D Thank you for taking the time to post all ...

Hello gentlefolk!
Just signed up and thought it proper to say hello. This wonderful forum has often appeared in my Google Alerts, so I thought I'd join the fray and make an account. I have a fondness for the films and music of the 30's and 40's, with a special affinity for Rita Hayworth. Look forward to reading the a...
