I'm particularly happy that TCM is showing the 1951 version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL on December 19 at 10 pm (CST)--My favorite Christmas film!

Thanks for posting the schedule for Christmas this year, Charles!

I WISH I could plan my holiday gatherings around TCM! To me nothing says Christmas like watching Alistair Sim.

I'm so happy that I'll Be Seeing You is added to the schedule on Christmas Eve. It's a super movie, very quiet and gentle with a great performance by Joseph Cotten. I only just saw it for the first time recently. Also happy to see my favorite short subject on the list, Star in the Night.

I'm always a fan of an Astaire/Rogers lineup. Which leads me to wonder what's going to be on New Year's Eve? :D

You can't do better than this, the very best filming of Dickens' classic. If IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is THE Christmas movie, this is the ultimate holiday story.

I'LL BE SEEING YOU is a good choice, Wendy. Soft and sensitive, it's not one that comes up every year.

It has a nice Christmas feel to it, too, Red. I don't know if it's a Christmas movie, but it certainly fits into the seasonal fare without being obvious. I'm always on the lookout for new old holiday movies!
