PM Regarding New Website

Post by jdb1 »

Who is this Babydust person who PM'd me about a new website called "Classic Legends?" Anybody know? Did you all get messages about it? It seems you are required to register before you can take a look. No thanks; not without references.

I got the same PM. Apparently we've got a spammer here.

The anonymous angle is not promising. The necessity of giving information before sampling is also not promising.

Whenever I go to "open houses"to look at homes/apartments (just out of curiosity), and there's a sign-in log, I always write "K. Hepburn, 244 East 49th Street, NYC." So far, no one's ever questioned my bona fides, but who knows how many unsolicited calls and/or letters the Hepburn estate has received from Brooklyn real estate brokers?

I got one, too. If I'm not mistaken, "MissRetro" (aka Babydust) is the same person who flooded the board at TCM advertising this same site.

No, it is NOT kosher to solicit our members in this manner--especially if one is using membership here to post private messages soon after joining this site. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Same thing with me. I wondered what was going on.

Saw that I got a PM from Baby Dust but when I tried to access it, nada. No news is good news. All I know is over at TCM City HollywoodGoLightly posts are spreading like wild fire...or cancer.

Thank goodness for this oasis.

(P.S.) I apologize to all cancer victims.
