I realize that there are a variety of ways and protocols to post photos here, (as outlined in the thread "Posting Photographs", found here), but could you please clarify the proper size for photos to be posted on our site in the text of a message without affecting the margins or, heaven forbid, the software?
Thanks very much for any guidance.
Moira

Dear Any Moderator

I'm doing a Rita Hayworth - The Love Goddess Thread and will be posting 3-4 pictures a day - 1 post per day ... and wondering its okay to post pictures 800x600 pixels? What is the guidelines here - I do not want to get in trouble here ... feel free to send me a private message via my own e-mail that can be found in your database.

I can be patience for an answer. The previous post doesn't tell me - and the link appears to be broken somehow.
Thanks Moderators!

500 x 500 is generally the maximum preferred for images, kingme, though occasionally larger pics show up. It takes too much time for pictures to load if they get much bigger and makes for an unwieldy thread. If you wish to keep your images larger, I might suggest checking out the clickable thumbs that many photo sharing sites (such as Photobucket and others) offer their members. That way, a person could see Rita in all her glory. Thanks so much for sharing your enthusiasms with us.
