You deserve to be cited! That article was incredible to me, not only was it a great read, and led me to enjoy a movie I never really got before, but I've used your words as a blueprint in watching any number of movies from a different perspective. It was a great article and highly influenced my movie watching. Just one of many!

The CODY / HANK “debate” has been quite an interesting read

How about Cody, Hank and an empty chair?

I watched this heartbreaker again when I was in my thirties. I told a friend, "No wonder they make these movies for kids. Grown ups can't take it!"

That's the truth! This one and The Yearling do me in. But then, I cry at The Muppet Movie.

remember Lisa Kudrow's character "Phoebe" on Friends? One of the funniest episodes ever was when she watched Old Yeller with the gang, and turned it off before the ending. Her mother had always done that, and she was clueless about Old Yeller's fate....

Oh my gosh, yes! That was a hilarious episode, probably one of my favorites. I also liked it when Joey wanted to take the stage name Joe Stalin cause he thought it sounded cool. :D
