Red River ... you and I sure think alike those are my favorite Robert Donat movies ... I loved GHOST and 39 STEPS and of course I adored him in PERFECT STRANGERS too.

he's rather underrated today

I would say he's rather UNKNOWN, Lamke. Except for classic fans.

The IMDb article states that he had "a rather neutral English accent". If you're English (and especially northern English, as I am) you can tell he was a northerner ( from Withington, Manchester). The Winslow Boy, and, The Magic Box, are two of my favourites.
