That's it! Hidalgo..... It can be a little slow at times, but I was just enthralled with the story.... and Mortensen.

A film that is primarily one a about a friendship. I see some "Warlock", "Rio Bravo" and a few other films in here. The friendship reminds me of that of Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday ("Tombstone") in that they are loyal to each other above all else. They hire out together and look out for each other.

At times it is a bit slow. There are deep things here and I should watch it again. Fine performances by the two stars. I must confess I don't think much of Zellwigger. It is an odd character she plays and she is hard to like. I could have also done without Tom Petty to play out the end credits.
