The French Cinematheque has made available online the lecture given by Kevin Brownlow on Octobre 14th, 2011 during an International Symposium about 'The Digital Revolution'. The lecture is entitled : What Does It Mean to Restore a Film?
He talks about the restoration of Napoléon and The Chess Player.

Thank you, Christine, I'm going to come back to this when things are quieter here, I'm going to have to go back to rescuing the carnage that is the Christmas tonight. It looks dangerously lopsided at the moment.
