Instead of belittling others' opinions, I've found it better to listen to alternate views to help me understand/empathise why they have that opinion.

HaHa, that is so me. I love my own stabs at humour (for you, Dargo). I don't take for granted that others do. I try not to use emotions because the jokes seem funnier if they can be apprehended without them. My heroes in this vein are Russell Baker and the like. Though I may be lame at humour to most, I still have my heroes.

It's true I've always been pretty happy. I have a lot of fun.

But it seems that I make many others in the community unhappy. My jokes don't go over; my views seem to be strongly offensive to many.

Even masha seems unpleased with my saying that opposing evil online practices with evil online practices is immoral.

As for us getting a room: I have clearly gone on record previously by stating that I respect you highly and I love you dearly but I prefer to keep you at a distance. Three hundred yards downwind in morning light sounds good.
