This is actually one that I watched in my childhood on the sci fi channel and LOVED it when I saw it. I see you thought I was referring to the also good Harryhausen flick. I don’t want to spoil too much but Hopper plays a great villain in the 2000 movie. He sends Jason off on the quest hoping he will die and gets hoisted by his own petard in a crucial scene that is extremely memorable to me and one of the reasons I love it. Hopper wants the Golden Fleece for himself but his own hubris is his downfall. Amazing film with an amazing performance.
