When I use IMGUR on this forum, I use the "copy image address" in IMGUR, which gives me the hyperlink. I copy the link here, then insert img (with brackets on both sides )before the link and /img (with brackets on both sides) after the link, like so:

which puts the image here (in this case, a red-tailed hawk on one of my trees)

I don't quite get that last step. It seems to be working okay at present. I copy using DIRECT LINK and then go directly to the Send box here at SSO and then paste. I used either the Photo Option here on the site or the Imgur Option, usu. the former.
