Cucumber and Banana
Many years ago in London, I purchased the box set DVDs for these two shows, largely because they were created by Russell T. Davies, the creator of the British Queer as Folk, which I consider the best queer television series of all time. (I'm not a fan of the American version).
I've now watched three of the eight episodes of Cucumber, and I hate the main character, a 46-year-old hapless gay idiot played by Vincent Franklin. In fact, pretty much all the characters are unlikeable, so far. Looking forward to watching the rest, then on to Banana. Tofu is the third series but not readily available. Cucumber and Banana are included with Amazon Prime. I believe they were on Logo.
Cucumber takes place in Manchester, England, the same city where Queer as Folk is set.
