I sorta like the famous "John and Marsha".

"Oh, John!"

"Oh, Marsha!"

"John!"

"Marsha!"

Etc.

Moira, I would be honored to be the poll watcher for the christening of the Oasis couple--if the offer is still good. Let me know and I'll get the ball rolling.

Hey, I've got some suggestions already:

Nick & Nora
Min & Bill
Ma & Pa (Kettle, of course)
Bogey & Baby
David & Claudia
Rhett & Scarlett
Bob & Carol/Ted & Alice
David & Bathsheba
Heathcliff & Cathy
Frankie & Annette

and so on.

By the bye - an evocative name like "Silver Screen Oasis" needs some appropriate background, dontcha think? Like palm trees and camels, or old-time movie marquis, or some matinee idols and vamps . . . .

I think I've given up on changing it.

Sue Sue stated that she felt that Connie looked like Carolyn Jones in her "blonde ambition" years. I agree with her.

Now I've realized that (IMHO) Chet resembles Russ Tamblyn a lot. Don't you think?
