Betsy Palmer makes me think that there just weren't enough opportunities for this lovely, good actress. I hope she had a happier private life, 'cause the movies sure never seemed to use her very well--despite her casting by John Ford in The Long Gray Line and starring opposite Joan Crawford in Queen Bee. Sure wish something better than Friday the 13th movies had been in her future.
