She did this AD during the time when she was doing MY GAL SAL back in 1942 with Victor Mature and Company. It's a very rare Newspaper/Magazine Ad for Hair/Beauty Company that I never, ever heard of ... And, my new Avatar for today!

EARLY LUX SOAP AD PHOTO




This photograph that I believe taken in 1940 (?) was used by Columbia Pictures to exploit her early films in the 40's to best of her advantage and that why LUX SOAP took an interest in her. With her good looks and all - they helped made her a Superstar of her own making ... I just loved this photo!
