It's uncanny that Brando married two actresses who had featured roles in both versions of "Mutiny on the Bounty" (MGM) of 1935 and 1962; Movita Castañeda played Franchot Tone's sweetheart in the '35 version (while Mamo Clark played Gable's love interest) and Tarita (Brando's 3rd wife) played Christian's (Brando) sweetheart in the 1962 version.

No doubt that Brando loved those Island women, Fernando.
