Two Rode Together - Where's the DVD ?

Post by ken123 »

I think this John Ford directed Western starring Jimmy Stewart, Richard Widmark, and Shirley Jones is a great film.IMHO its ranking near the top of Ford's Westerns is up there with The Searchers, Fort Apache, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. I like Stagecouch but its not great IMHO. :(

I don't know what the hold up is, unless it's just Columbia's general sluggishness about releasing titles. They are coming out with several films noir on DVD, so perhaps we may hope they are changing their tune.

I hope so, this Ford film, if its ever releaded on DVD should include a commentary. Intorance is a theme that Ford again explores in this film. :D

I would LOVE a commentary track on it, Ken. Let's hope if they do release it they release it well and with bells and whistles.
