Snoop Sisters on DVD soon

Helen Hayes and Mildred Natwick starred as The Snoop Sisters, the 1973 program which was part of the rotating NBC Mystery Movie series. Now Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI) of Canada has announced plans to bring The Complete Series to DVD as part of a 3-disc set. That will be the original TV movie pilot, plus the four 90 minute episodes that included regular Bert Convy and guest stars Jill Clayburgh, Art Carney, Charlie Callas, Edward Platt, Victor Buono, music star Alice Cooper, Walter Pidgeon , Joan Blondell, Greg Morris, Tammy Grimes, Katherine Helmond, William Devane, Roddy McDowall and Vincent Price. This release is tentatively scheduled for First Quarter 2011, but could be subject to change.

I used to watch The Snoop Sisters back when it was first broadcast. I was only about twelve years old, but I loved Hayes and Natwick. Natwick was seen occasionally on McMillan and Wife, too -- as Rock Hudson's mother. :)
