Mitchum - Where Danger Lives

Where Dangers Lives is directed by John Farrow, that features his wife Maureen O' Sullivan as Mitchum's girlfriend. Faith Domergue is a
" distraught " lady who is an emergency patient of Doctor Mitchum, who he will wish that he had never meet. Claude Rains is Faith's " father ", or is he ? It is now on TCM.

There were some real goodies on TCM yesterday and I'm happy I got them all recorded. I've never seen this Robert Mitchum movie before so I'm looking forward to it. Forgive me, but does it seem terribly like ANGEL FACE? The plot sounds so close to it. I saw Maureen briefly in a clip but she looked so much older. I think it was a bad job by the make-up artist though, and she still was a beautiful woman.

So, to those who've seen Where Danger Lives (1950), as a big Claude Rains fan, do I need to do an immediate detour and make sure that I catch this one? Or does Claude (forgive me, Mr. R.), look as though he had a few alimony payments to meet when he signed on for this film?

Claude Rains had to be so irresistibly charming. I adored him in every film I've ever seen him in. I've missed Where Danger Lives, so I hope someone gives an update.
