This 1961 tv film Gunfight At Black Horse Canyon turned up on UK digital tv the other day. It starred Dale Robertson, as Jim Hardie, in a movie spin-off of the hit tv show Wells Fargo. However, the film itself isn't listed in Dale Robertson's film index on IMD?

Another show I watched as a very small child and haven't seen since! We all called it "Wills Fargo"! We knew people named Wills. Wells were things you get water from! Could this movie be a compilation of TV episodes? That's been done a few times.

I didn't watch the film really, but I gather it was a disjointed affair as if a couple of episodes put together. I did wonder at the bit I saw if Jim Hardie was retired from Wells Fargo and gone into ranching.

I don't know about the series, but this movie was in colour
