Sorry so late in posting, but just wanted to thank Ms. Golden for visiting. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the thread--so informative. I have the book on hold at the library, just waiting eagerly for it to come in!

I would love to know how you like the Gilbert book, Sandy. If anyone is a member of Facebook, you might want to look for Eve there, since she posts her witty observations fairly regularly. Just tell her that you are a member of the SSO--she seems to enjoy our fascination with some of the same people she writes about so well.

Ditto - none of my local libraries have it (?!#), so I used the LINK library service - a copy is coming from Sacramento!
