Tiffany Vasquez!

Tiffany introduced Naked City(1948), directed by Jules Dassin and narrated by Mark Hellinger, starring Barry Fitzgerald, Howard Duff, Don Taylor, and Dorothy Hart. Tiffany was fascinated with Naked City because it was filmed on location in all five boroughs in New York.

Comments from TCM on the site:

Judges were impressed with Tiffany's content, staging and creative use of effects, which resulted in the video looking like the movie she discussed. As the grand prize winner, Tiffany will have the opportunity to co-host a film on air with TCM host Robert Osborne, as well as introduce a film at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April 2014.

The response to this contest was tremendous, and the panel of judges was thrilled to see the passion and creativity of TCM fans. Thanks to everyone who participated, and congratulations to Tiffany!

Congratulations on a job well done! :-)

I've watched the video and have to admit, I'm surprised it won. I haven't seen any of the others, but would have thought there were some entries with more advanced production values. This one just cuts back and forth between two locales with the same one person standing there talking, who doesn't speak so clearly. Clearly a fan of the movie, though. :? :? I don't mean to be unkind, but the selection is puzzling to me.

A bit of follow-up: I found the gallery and watched a few more videos. I can see how the winner was a better job than some of the other submissions, but a couple of them were so creative! Of those I saw, the video for "Night of the Living Dead" was my favorite, really terrific. The one for "North by Northwest" was very good too, but that fellow doesn't speak as clearly. These two were fun. :)

The one for "Night of the Hunter" is pretty good too!

And this guy is just standing in front of a wall, speaking about "An American in Paris," but his copy is well written and well-delivered, so that it comes off successfully. :)

There were some fabulous videos, PT. As for the decision-making process, who knows for sure? I just know what I like, and it could be that TCM seeks to secure its future by focusing the spotlight on younger fans, which is a prudent decision. I certainly enjoyed The Night of the Hunter one(there were two ) and quite a few others I felt were worthy. Just glad I wasn't on the committee!

There were a couple of them that seemed to take a cue from "private phone chat" venues, but the majority were just enthusiastic fans.
