I agree with most of what you said, except that the guy who plays Sherlock, to me, is not very much eye candy to me. He seems to have a sort of nervous atmosphere about him that has nothing to do with the role he's playing, and he's just a little too thin for my taste. It is a good show, and definitely well acted, written and directed but it could be cut down to an hour playing time, because often there is a lot of dead time and sometimes Sherlock is irritating in his abuse of other people.
