I have changed it so that (if a member chooses in their user control panel) one can disable/enable the word censoring. It seems to turn it OFF by default though, at least for me.

Just the other day I tried to post the adage "life's a b**** and then you die" and it came out "life's a b**** and then you die".

I've also been using **** as a replacement for "s***".

That’s insane jimimac. Well, then what the heck goes if anything doesn’t go? When we were all in school and had to sit at our desks and turn in our homework reports and we were afraid of our teachers and authority and all that. But we aren’t in school anymore , a lot of us don’t have jobs anymore. So that whole thing won’t fly. When you are are a step away, well maybe two, from skid row, who cares what people post? They got a right to post anything they want, IMO.
