Miss Goddess:
I was just slumming and I saw your thread about Casablanca. I can't see why people bother, and if this Rajeev Nath thinks changing the time and location will help his 'interpretation', he's just wrong. So much of the story depends on the fear the German Nazi's instilled in people, that no other organization could equal.
However, we may be jumping the gun here, because if the writer on that Vancouver newspaper could 1.) write the story, 2.) give it to the copy person 3.) go past the Editor 4.) go past the final typist, and 5.) finally get printed, all I can say is the paper personnel are not too swift, because it was Bogey and Ingrid Bergman who starred - Not Bogey and Bacall!!! and nobody corrected that little point!
