Yes, I must admit I had a bizarre crush on Moe back in the Bronx. Definitely NOT for the sadistic behavior, eye pokes and the like but for......even now I cannot give you an explanation.

At that same time I was also in love with Paul Muni. It started with HUDSON'S BAY. To this day my adoration continues.

It must've been the hair!

I wish I could figure it out, lol. I mean, Paul Muni didn't have a lot of hair (on top of his head or body).

True. She did talk about hubby neglecting her (busy producing his tv show) and treating her like a child. But she never said they "went all the lay, I mean, way!!.

I think she did say she and Powell separated for a time. Her book came out in the 80s or 90s so I've forgotten a lot of details.

And I think Joan Blondell who was briefly married to Powell said essentially the same thing about him -- boring, precise, workaholic, and not exactly fireworks in the romance department. I even remember (I swear!) something to the effect that he was a stickler for time and even wound his watch before lovemaking, plus wearing socks to bed but perhaps Joan was being hyperbolic, lol. She also had some unkind things to say about June ("husband snatcher" or words to that effect)
