Re: Three Colors: Red (1994)

caught "Red" by chance this a.m. Fascinating film, beautifully photographed. After reading of the other 2 am now anxious to see those also
P.S. "woman in Dunes" was intriguing also. It's for a chance to see unusual films like these that I really appreciate TCM programming.

just been reading about the 2 Nobuo Nakagawa films being shown on 'Underground' this Fri.,1-15, nite. They sound pretty intense. Never heard of him before, so if anyone happens to watch them, please let me know what you think.
hope they don't give me nightmares!

Re: The Happy Time (1952)

thanks for mentioning one of my favorite coming-of-age films.
It depicts such a warm, supportive and family, who love each other in spite of, or maybe because of all their faults and foibles. Would've loved a dad like Boyer. Always leaves me with a smile on my face.

Re: A Taste of Cherry (1997)

thanks, you're probably right, the ending just took me aback and wondering.
great pick though.
BTW sorry if it looked like I was chasing you down, but this kind of film doesn't get much notice at the 'other' message board, so I was glad to see you here too. :D
