This would have to be my favourite thread. Thank you for all the work you do. As to the deleted picture I thought it was great. Personally I did not consider it to be in bad taste, but I realise that some people may.
Keep up the good work!

Re: ALFRED HITCHCOCK
Because the Hitchcock documentary was blocked I went to youtube and was able to watch by typing in Alfred Hitchcock memory of the camps. Initially I wept, then I felt ill and was unable to continue watching.

Holding a big box of Twizzlers in your arms? I am doomed, I have never heard of Twizzlers! Awww Fossy. It's American movie candy junk food. I can send you a smaller package if you like. ;-) That is very thoughtful of you but there would be no point. It would almost certainly be seized by Customs.

I first saw Joan Bennett in the movie Mississippi(1935). She portrayed a young girl of about sixteen. (actually she was 25 and this was her seventeenth movie). She was always pretty, but as a brunette she became beautiful.

Re: EVELYN
On the strength of mrsl`s write up of this movie, I ordered it. It arrived this morning and I watched it. What a great show! My son and his wife (who is from Co.Tipperary) will be visiting Australia in late March, and will be spending a week up here before flying home. I think she will enjoy it.

There's a sequel where she opens a photography studio. LADY IN THE DARKROOM! You had me puzzled for a while. I searched Ginger Rogers movies for a movie called Lady in The Darkroom, but could not find it. Eventually I did find a remake of Lady In The Dark, (called Lady In The Dark) made for TV in 1...
