Re: OBITUARIES
This will be a sad story for many of you... About my dear wife Annie... One that I was reluctant to share, but having so many friends on here, I thought many of you would want to know. So here goes... Some here from the TCM message board know of my involvement with my wife's various illnesses over ...

Re: New TCM General Manager...
I think with any change to front office management, time will tell. Everyone needs to have some patience and let the new management try and work their magic. Changes will happen but not very quickly. In TCM's case it is harder I am sure that many folks think. On average TCM broadcasts around 350 fil...

Re: What recent films have you seen?
I'm watching Star Trek - The Motion Picture right now on IFC. IFC probably cut the heck out of STTMP. The original running time of the movie was 132 minutes. Theh Robert Wise had a special directors cut issued for the dvd which ran 136 minutes and included updated visual effects and better sound ef...

Re: Robert Osborne Reluctantly Takes a Pass on TCM Festival 2015
I agree about what you wrote about Ben. He better begin referring back to a lot of notes he must have made over the years and paying close attention to the myriad of old Hollywood stars and the various behind the scenes people who frequent the Film Festival. Re: Essential?
Based on the writings so far on this thread I can honestly say that some have indicated that they aren’t so interested in the selection of certain films to be included as an “Essential” but rather that the actual conversation of the film should be longer in some regards. I would agree with this opin...

Re: ACCOUNT SUSPENDED page @TCM?
You are not the only one.
I am assuming something is amiss over there. Some sort of technical issue.
I can not believe that my account was suspended due to something I wrote, but stranger things have happened.
I have tried sending correspondence directly to lzcutter (Lynn).

Re: LISTS
Unfortunately we can never go back. But for some of us we can sit in the past all we want and just rewatch old features over and over again. This is called living in the past. And there is nothing wrong with that. Eventually however, one needs to possibly grow. To deny the fact that there are many f...
