Re: Fall Season Report Card

Is anybody watching ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”? The show is really good dramatic/weird twist on Fairy Tales.
Kind of like Snow White meets Stephen King. Sundays @ 8am EST

Re: Screen smoking might be classed 18

I think we’re getting too carried away with our politically correctness. What’s next? Do they want to do what Spielberg did this with re-release of E.T. put phones in their hands instead of guns? I can’t imagine Bogart trying to light up a Blackberry. :P

Re: 2012 TCM Festival

I always wanted to go but again I’m not. All my life I wanted to go to California, it’s been a quest like Ratso Rizzo’s quest for Florida. Hopefully one day they bring the festival to the East…

Re: Abbott & Costello

I too have lost interest with A&B. I guess in New York they were played to death on Channel 11 in the 60's. I do however enjoy their "short lived" TV show. Hillary Brooke, Sidney Fields, Mike the cop and especially Bingo the Chimp. I can still watch those maybe because they're in 1/2 h...

I'm speechless; I remember when he wrote me on my regular E-Mail address. I thought I won a contest. We laughed about it and corresponded with each other once and a while. What a shame, the good DO die young…Rest in Peace and God Bless your soul…Friend

Re: Elvis westerns

I think your right, I always liked Elvis in westerns. But I think Hal B. Wallis and Colonel Parker had other ideas about how Elvis would make money for them. I think Elvis even seemed more at ease with westerns instead of the usual find a girl, lose girl, sing/shake and get the girl at the end scena...

Re: Coming Up on TCM

I guess you're right , Alot of this stuff DID go over our heads. Even some Bugs Bunny cartoons, I get them now but as a kid I just smiled ???? and waited for the next scene. (Not even knowing what it meant) It is kind of sad the differences of the kids today compaired to the kids of the 50/60's. Wer...
