You're clear, but, when viewing a forum, you can also click on the little yellow icon to the left of the thread title and it will take you to the first unread post in that thread.

If that icon is white, then there are no unread posts.

I say go for it. Let me know once you have everything moved, and I'll run a manual server backup, so you'll know that they've been preserved.

I became a fan of Conrad. L. Hall posthumously. When I walked out of Road to Perdition , I told my friend "that movie is a shoe-in for best cinematoraphy." When I found out that it was the same cameraman as Electra Glide in Blue and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid I became convinced he ...

There's nothing better than pre-code Busby Berkely. Simply amazing stuff.

The most intelligent musical ever made.

5. The Music Man

Guilty pleasure.

Re: Ditched!

So I go to Manhattan and while I'm away everyone ditched me! But I heard you all giggling like Munchkins in the flowerbeds and have found you here on an entirely new site. It's me: ManInTaxi, aka Jack Burley, née Marco. [/b] Ya know, Jack, I think you need another username. Four is just not enough....

Re: re code of ethics

Here's the one of several things that really bothered me: By transmitting or displaying User Content on or through the Service, you grant Licensors an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, distribute copies and creat...

There's two definitions. One has to do with having withstood the test of time. The other has to do with age.

I define the latter as at least ten years older than whatever my age is at the time, the same way I define "old man."

Re: Is there a way to bring over photo folders?

There are several excellent folders created in the old TCM refugees containing photos and poster art, etc. Is there a place here we can import them, and, if so, how do we do that? There is a place, yes. The link is here. I'm hoping to do some site work this weekend and get a link up on the main pag...

Okay, I must have have missed it. Can someone tell me what Larry and his cousin found? I can't find the thread over in TCM City and my curiosity is peaked. Argh Argh Argh. I ignored this topic over there, and I want to ignore it here too, but I can't stand it. Essentially Larry claimed that his cou...

Jeez, I had forgotten Andy Richter. That was such a great show that was on for about 10 minutes. I loved it.

Are you a fan of "The Kids in the Hall?" I should have put that on my list.

In fact, not only is it annoying - it is often destructive. Because once the commentators and pundits run out of actual NEWS, they resort to personal political or social commentary, just to fill up air time. But if it's all the same to them, I would prefer to distill the news through my OWN moral f...
