Re: Merry Christmas and other holidays of the season!

🎄 Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! 🎄 Our Christmas is: January 7 but I understand that December 25 is a popular date for it also. My dad's family was Russian Orthodox, so got to do 2 Christmases each year as a child. 😁 --------------- Hope whatever you're doing makes you happy this season. 😊 🤶

Thanks for posting that, Lorna. Agree that Harris is not a singer, but was better than I expected in this.

Oh, I think you summed it up pretty well. :) We're pretty much hermits here, just going out for groceries and for building supplies at HD/Lowes.

Re: WONKA ('23)

The 70's Gene Wilder movie is a fave of the Tiki household. ... (the little guy in the picture is a neighbor) A neighbor! Neat. Wonder what he thinks of this. The orig story is just ok to me, but as long as Pure Imagination is in the score, I'm all for it - although I won't go to a theater where I'...

I think it looks like it might be a cute holiday movie. Maybe you're just not old enough yet, Tiki.

Re: In my own little world

I grew up in rural areas only 30 minutes from large cities. That's where I am/was. It was not polite to go to some person's home unannounced and expect to be invited inside. Same here. Neither of you are even close to identifying where "the middle of nowhere" is. ... It's where the little...

Re: For PEEBS: "The WANTERS"

As stated, dianedebuda: "For PEEBS..." I'm definitely not in the baiting business, but like I said, just curious. Maybe peebs is an acronym for a group? Usually the topics you posted for his/her/its/their reading sounded interesting and always wished there was a reply. Not trying to stir ...

Re: For PEEBS: "The WANTERS"

Vaguely remember some posts there, but is Peebs here under another name, on TB's site (where you have a similar thread) or are these posts to the great unknown?

Re: In my own little world

Are you a farmer? Now I really want pictures. :smiley_cheer: No, I'm not a farmer, just a retired programmer. I have a Deere compact tractor, not a big boy like the farmers use. Right now I have the bucket on the front end, so maybe I'll take a pic and start a new thread the next time I put the for...

Tiki: That looks more like an unfinished 2nd floor rather than an attic - particularly when it has windows and a wood floor. Great hiding place. :D

Dargo: How you feeling this morning after the tennis episode? Really was suprised that you were able to do it so soon after the mishap.
