Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
I looked at posts in the thread "More BBCode Formatting Please!" Sounds like Lomm lost some features after a software update. So you just can't win, eh? The Hatfield/McCoy fued may have started there and for one person, it's a game. As for attempting to help a bit, I have an Android tablet...

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
Well, I created a post and lost it. I hate that.
I wanted to pass this along:
https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2635986
It isn't a button fix, but might add some more enjoyable features.
My 2¢ worth.

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
There is no way for me to know this is just between you and laffite. This is not social media in my opinion. There are rules in this public forum. Now you've resorted to degrading me. You respect Lomm, but in essence are calling him a liar. Maybe a cleaner attitude could get you elevated Admin privi...

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
I have to agree with someone pointing two pistols at my "boiler." My baby bump.
I complain not about the forum, but this bickering is getting on my nerves.
I'm two shakes of a lamb's tail from registering a complaint.

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
...I know Dargo from the TCM forum. I know he is consistently humourous. "Humourous"?! "HUMOUROUS"???!!! Well sure jimi, while you may have remembered THIS about me from over there on the old TCM boards alright, APPARENTLY you have FORGOTTEN how I feel about that OH SO unnecessa...

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
Well, I guess I DID have a rough idea of your age here laffite, but just to settle the matter here once and for all, what WOULD be the exact date of your birth, anyway??? laffite has reported that he is 78 (but he behaves as though he is 7 or 8 ). (...and while you're at it, how about givin' us you...

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
This forum is open source software. Think Linux. Unlike Windows/Mac, you don't just point and click. I wonder if TikiSoo knows what to do? Also, JamesJazzGuitar, based on the TCM forum, is a retired computer programmer. I think a Linux/Unix skill-set is required. I would only break it. It would be n...

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
I've been here less than a month. I did see there was a poll last year.
I only voice my opinion.
I get that Lomm doesn't want to do it, but will in time.
I looked at the poll. Rather slim pick-ins.
For the sake of argument, if I knew how and had admin privileges, I would take on the task for Lomm.

Re: Request for Like/Thank Button
During my brief cameo at a different forum, they have a like button. One person would frequently like my music posts. I then felt obligated to like her posts in return. Another forum has many additions to the like button, including a rather nasty disagree button. I don’t want a like button. It lets ...

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
Oddly enough, a favorite is that "we make it ... all you do is bake it," pizza. Chicken, Bacon & Artichoke. (Love at 425°) I will add, it looks like Sepiatone is happy elsewhere too. Still don't know how to post a video here. There is a song on the CD "A Taste of DMP" called ...

Re: I Just Watched...
Yes, I did just watch "12 Angry Men." I love courtroom dramas. I feel Lee J. Cobb's performance was the best.
The Matlock TV show episode "The Juror" has an intentional parallel to "12 Angry Men."
All the way down to some racial negativity between members of the jury.
