Re: Coming up on TCM...
Of the 4 movies, "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid." His brief cameo in "The Muppet Movie." But of course, "The Jerk." Not sure what the theme is. Not his birthday. Don't remember ever seeing "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." "Father of the Bride" wasn't even clos...

Re: I Just Watched...
I have none of those services. Just straight cable tv. But MSW is on 3 or 4 channels. I only pay for cable TV as well. The above channels are free. You would need a streaming device and you have Internet. My Xfinity/Comcast TV box has a select amount of Internet services. Nothing to directly compet...

Re: New OTA cartoon network
I've known this was in the works for months, but have not been able to discuss it. But today it was finally announced that MeTV will be starting a new cartoon network (MeTV Toons) in June. They will be showing classic cartoons, most of them from the theatrical release era, from major studios. They ...

Re: Fav. kid cartoons...
I want this!
I hope this makes it to streaming and broadcasting.
MeTV and MeTV+ are on my Xfinity cable along with Philo and Frndly. Of course this would provide a good source of income for TCM 's parents.
It's all good!
MeTV already has good 'toons, including Woody Woodpecker.

Re: I Just Watched...
Then the TCM/Max promo could be misleading, which could also be called false advertising. I looked at the Max website and it doesn't mention TCM. The sports package being put together by Disney, Fox and WB/Discovery is receiving backlash from a number of other companies. https://cordcuttersnews.com/...

Re: I Just Watched...
I watched the end of "My Fair Lady." The best part. Love Audrey Hepburn but Rex Harrison is such a jerk. After the movie was the hilarious promo for the WB tours. Someone may have watched the drag race scene from American Graffiti. Then a promo for Max. Is Max going to be the streaming hom...

Re: I Just Watched...
LOL! I'll have to look out for that one! :D Right now Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and Freevee Live are showing "Amsterdam Kill" on Murder, She Wrote. The Freevee app has MSW On-Demand, 6 seasons. The Amazon Prime app is needed for the Freevee live channels. I have none of those services. J...

Re: I Just Watched...
I was watching MSW on my computer screen using my Roku. Strange but true. Sitting closer to my computer than my TV, I noticed a lady being questioned at the police station. Not only was the wig noticeable, but her eyeglasses did not have lenses. A few days ago on either The Roku Channel or Pluto TV...

Re: I Just Watched...
Rewatched a large portion of Victor/Victoria last night. Still holds up very well, and it is one of Blake Edwards' finest hours. Robert Preston and Lesley Ann Warren should have won the supporting Oscars that year. I watched the whole thing. A lot happens in a film that is just 2 hours and 13 minut...

Guess what movie I watched last night?
A couple of different but excellent versions of songs from my favorite movie Victor/Victoria.

Re: What are you listening to?
I believe Allhallowsday will listen to almost anything once. I am infinitely more critical. After graduation from High School, I came out of my musical closet and embraced Country Music. (1975) I learned about 50s Music in the late 1980s. I love anything that spins at 78 RPM. Modern music, 2000+, is...
