Re: Tammy and the Bachelor
Thanks to all for your replies. I think these films were made for us women to enjoy because we can relate to Tammy in some way. Men might find them boring but at least the first one brings more humor, especially when Tammy arrives at mansion and falls asleep with Nan eating the plants. I recently bo...

Re: Your Movie 'Guilty Pleasures'
Birdy, have you seen the 1985 version of "Alice In Wonderland"? I consider it my favorite of them all because of the wonderful cast and creative songs. It features Sammy Davis Jr, Telly Savalas, Carol Channing, Red Buttons, Imogene Coca, and Shelly Winters among other stars. As a child I r...

Re: Your Movie 'Guilty Pleasures'
For me I'd have to say it's "Death Becomes Her", "Sniper" and "The Mummy". Professional Tourist, I've heard "Looking For Mr. Goodbar" is extremely shocking at the end. As a fan of Tom Berenger I'm also hoping it comes out on dvd to finally see it. I read he wa...

Tammy and the Bachelor
Out of curiosity, how many of you would watch this or the other installments of Tammy if TCM were to feature them someday? I think Debbie Reynolds and Sandra Dee played their roles well to the point where I can't tell which one did better.

Re: The Women's Room
Thanks to all for your kindness. When talking of silliness, I have to be on top. I'm most definitely an alien because I don't seem to fit in this world. Everyone says I'm strange. Humphrey Bogart http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l307/creaturemoviefan/s2/bogie1-1-1.jpg William Powell http://i9...

Re: The Women's Room
Please don't be offended by what I said. I just meant that it's nice to come in here and share good times talking about films instead of thinking about the bad things going on in the world(which I tend to do). At times I need to laugh more. Thanks for sharing your positive energy, I truly mean it. I...

Re: The Women's Room
Sorry I couldn't find a larger version of the photo but I'm glad it made your day. Bless you for being such a happy person! Despite never seeing the film, it's a nice photo of the actors sharing a tender moment in their roles. I'm not sure what actors are favored in the forum but I decided to post a...

Re: Who Still Needs a Biography?
Out of curiosity, has anyone read Don Ameche: The Kenosha Comeback Kid? At the moment I can't purchase it but I've heard good things about this book.

Re: The Women's Room
I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts and seeing the great pictures on here. Here a few I was able to dig up: Ralph Meeker in the theater version of "Picnic". http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l307/creaturemoviefan/s2/aaf1_1_sbl1.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l307/creaturemoviefan/...
