Re: What recent films have you seen?

I watched A Walk in the Woods tonight, and quite enjoyed it. I love hiking and I'm getting old, so the combination was irresistible (though I'm not as old as the two stars). Made me wish summer was already here as I have two vacations planned, one solo and one with my kids, that involve lots of hiki...

I really liked your idea of directors (as you can see by the last several banners!)

Re: Vote for Your Favorite Film Figures for the Banner

The immortal Cecil B. DeMille is our current banner figure (I don't know who the other two guys are). The quote is from him as well.

Re: What recent films have you seen?

Last week I watched Deadpool, the now top-grossing R rated movie of all time. It's crass, profane, irreverent...and so much fun. :) Not for everybody, but I thought it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?

Heh, when I first watched it I wouldn't have gotten that. It was one of the movies that made me a fan of Cary Grant's early work, and I didn't know much about him yet.

Wash is so intentionally funny, and Jayne is so obliviously funny. I'm not sure which one I like more.

Re: Favorite Quotes and Exchanges in Television Programs

It's just such a perfect show. Great casting, writing, and a very original concept. Fox completely killed any momentum it could have built up by airing it out of order, which didn't allow character development to move forward coherently. Then they didn't even air the last episode (or maybe much late...

Re: Favorite Quotes and Exchanges in Television Programs

Oh, more Firefly quotes. :) Mal: You wanna tell me how come there’s a statue here, lookin’ at me like I owe him something? Jayne: Wishin’ I could, cap’n. Mal: No, seriously, Jayne, you want to tell me–? Jayne: Look, Mal, I got no ruttin’ idea. I was here a few years back, like I said. Pulled a secon...
