I went to Spider-Man 3 and for the first third of the movie a baby was crying. I don't know why a family would bring a li...

Hmmm Well I think Reeves can pull it off but it'll probably be a SFX laden film with Klaatu "demonstrating" his power.

Oh well we'll see how the movie turns out when it comes out.

I like listening to soul music from the '60s and '70s. In fact I scour youtube for vids to keep for my personal viewing and listening pleasure. /quote] Have you checked "Dewey's Record Party"? He, and others, will have done a lot of work for you. Nope, I'm very particular about my choice of music a...

I finally saw the movie myself as well. I'm a big fan of the Simpsons and the style of humor on that show. I do think that while the film was funny and there were quite a few Simpsons specific funny scenes it just felt like the writers sold out a bit. I say this because of the Family Guy type of sce...

Hm last movie I saw was Key to the City (1950) with Clark Gable and Loretta Young. It was fairly entertaining but when I read on IMDB afterwards that it was Frank Morgan's last movie I was a bit sad. I always liked what i've seen of Morgan. Anywho Gable and Young kept a fairly thin and so-so in humo...

Let's see, I'm a pretty simple guy. I collect comic books. In fact I have about 5 titles on my pull list and while it can sometimes be an expensive hobby I enjoy reading the comics and keeping them in my comics bin. I am into history, especially the Third Reich and World War II area. In fact one yea...

Btw, a special "welcome & hiya!" to SPTO , who's recently joined us. I knew we'd get a bit more life on our little site when the Fall rolled around! Thanks! It's good to browse and dabble in discussion with people who will talk about the movies rather then the scandalous. (tho I admit one of my las...

testing....

Ah well I love the original version of Goodbye Mr. Chips. The musical just doesn't have the emotional punch of the original. I find myself getting tearing eyed at the end of the original film. After one viewing of the original it instantly became one of my favourite films of all time. :)
