In reading different views about Peckinpah and watching the bonus material which I rented, I am starting to get the idea that although The Wild Bunch is the most famous of Peck's works, it is not the most representative, nor even the greatest. I have not seen this show for years, but remember it fondly. It showed in odd time slots here in the U.S., like on Saturday afternoons.
