Re: What are you reading?
It's worth reading the review on Amazon of kindle books, especially of the classic books which might have been released by a few companies. Avoid the ones which mentioned the spelling mistakes and the grammar unless it looks like it's been updated. At least we can sample the books before buying or r...

Re: To Dream of Dogs
These cockapoos don't mind the dirt, Lara loves to just sit in it, which you can imagine delights us. Yesterday I watched Laura, I only wish Dana Andrews could annunciate properly, it sounded like Lara, which interested Lara. The kids caught the last hour and they thought she was called Lara too, to...

Re: To Dream of Dogs
That video is hilarious, that's Lara though she's a lot smaller but she mugs us whenever she sees us, especially me.
Lily sounds just like Lara, is she good on her back legs? Lara is fantastic on her back legs, she can stand on them for ages, it's quite a party piece.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
The women were great in Westward the Women , it's a film I'll revisit and no doubt will get a lot more out of it, most of the women were unknown to me but all very good. What hit home the most for me was a new Robert Taylor or at least a Taylor I hadn't seen before, I've seen him playing young roman...

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
Two Westerns for me so far this week, you know me I'm not a Westerns gal but I did quite like Westward The Women with Robert Taylor, who's boyish good looks had dissappeared by this time leaving a far more interesting actor, I think this is the best thing I've ever seen him in, a far cry for Armand ...

Re: To Dream of Dogs
I've never thought of what flavoured treats I give Lara might affect er behaviour. Her absolute favourite are tripe sticks, she goes mad for them and any human food she can get her hands on. Lara's my best friend, we are peas and carrots, like in Forrest Gump, we're glued together. I think Shug must...

It's all over the news here, it's awful, I can't comprehend what it must be like to be devastated like that. My heart truly goes out to the victims.

I just wanted to log on to say how sorry I am that the US has suffered another tragedy. 90 dead our news is saying, it seems you've reeled from one tragedy to another since before xmas. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved and wounded and with all my dear friends here.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
Purple Noon, oh Teresa are you goin to fall under Alain Delon's spell. There's plenty to enjoy he was a prolific and good actor. I love Pandora, it is one of James Mason's sexiest films and Ava was never lovelier and Jack Cardiff's photography, I can't say it was his best film because they were all ...

Re: Welcome to Eve Golden, Our Guest Author in May
Eve, if Jack had have lived and had health which would support him working in the film industry, what do you think he would have done? He obviously had talent as a writer, could he have made it behind the camera? He didn't see himself in front of the camera in the first place, I like to think that h...

Re: The Royals!
It is very lazy journalism and they aren't enemies you'd want to make, especially if you want to interview them yourself one day. Harry likes America, Diana liked America and I can see Harry spending more time over there when times allows. He's obviously a hit with the girls and he has a warm chemis...
