Re: To Dream of Dogs

Aw, doggies! Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! They don't call them "man's best friend" for nothing! They ask so little for a lifetime of devotion!

Re: Happy Birthday, Charliechaplinfan!

I keep hearing that U.K. travellers are returning home. It's costing them, but they are getting back. The high speed railways have been very helpful, especially the one in France.

Re: Happy Birthday, Charliechaplinfan!

I hope so too, Brenda. You would love this area, it's a cultural landscape with so much history. You know me too well- I will indeed love it! We will be going to Suffolk, where Bruce was born and raised as well, so I'll get to see lots of the beautiful English countryside. :D Bruce sent me a pic of...

Hedvig, Thank you for your thoughtful message about Alison and family. I'm visiting my son and granddaughters in SLC, and couldn't reply via Facebook as it doesn't recognize this computer, but I have been accessing my home email. Thank you for letting us know! What a bother, but at least they are sa...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALISON! Your gift is on it's way!

Hope you didn't get sidelined by all that volcanic ash stuff!

Re: WHAT SILENTS & PRE-CODES HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?

I saw Her Sister From Paris from the new Kino set. It's a light, frothy little comedy made interesting by the interplay between Constance Talmadge and Ronald Colman. Re: Gone With or Without fanfare

The Controller at our company commented on this today saying that another one of the icons of his youth had passed away. He still has a cup and bowl with Fess on them that an aunt gave him to this day. That's how much Fess Parker effected him. He was a hero to little boys of the time.
