Re: The Wonderful Deanna Durbin

My favorite is "His Butler's Sister". She is most maturely beautiful in this one and sing a great variety of songs including a Russian medely which caused her to be a favorite in Russia. I think it is a sweet movie. Deanna was 2...

Re: 'Round the World Weather Report

My heart goes out to all those affected by the storm. I am sitting here in my ok home and watching videos of the damage and hardships I cannot help but choke and sometimes outright cry at the loss. Over a million without power and people standing in mile long lines trying to get gasoline. It is horr...

Re: *CANDIDS*

Veronica Lake was way ahead of her time with her beautiful long flowing hair. Today it is a common trend that pleases me a whole lot.

How Many Movie Stars were multi Talented

I wonder how many movie stars had other talents. I know many of them could truly play the piano and many were artist with a brush. Do you have any stories to tell? It would be nice to grandify some of these careers with true talent beyond what they were famous for.

Comments please.

Re: Comfort foods

You guys are too funny with your digestion remarks. There are many things I can no longer eat and one of them is White Castle Hamburgers. I also have trouble with onions cooked or raw. Re: Comfort foods

Speaking of Hot Dogs, there aree so many varieties I'll bet you all have your favorites. The street trucks sell "dirty water" dogs with all the toppings. Grilled dogs (franks) are good too but my favorite is from a 70 year old road side restaurant in Clifton, New Jersey called Rutts Hut. T...

A very Happy Birthday. I always think of "Sixteen Candles" at Birthday time. Tell us your rememberances of the day. Was it Happy or sad or wanting or shared or lonely. Tell us how your day went.

One of my favorite players on my New York Yankees is Nick Swisher. He is a very good player and is the life of the Clubhouse. He is always smiling and joking around. I just discovered why he is always smiling. He is married to Movie and TV actress Joanna Garcia, a very pretty lady. Now, everytime I ...
