Re: OBITUARIES
Very sorry for your loss. You have a way with words and your love for her came across beautifully.

Re: All Things Streaming
The SF Giants are on NBC Sports Bay Area. Owned by Comcast/Xfinity. It's all good. I noticed the Hallmark Trio of channels are all East Coast feeds. Oh well. Ah, but you see, the beauty of YouTube TV? Unlimited DVR. You just save it to your library and you can watch anytime you want, and skim throu...

Re: All Things Streaming
I've been very happy with YouTube TV and have converted several others to it as well. There may be an add-on package for your SF Giants baseball, I don't know. Here in the Cincinnati market we are stuck with Bally Sports, who don't have a deal with YouTube TV and seem to have no plans to ever have o...

Re: All Things Streaming
I've tried just about every streaming device there is I think. Apple TV 4K: the best, most complete ad-free (in the interface) experience for me, hands down. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it. If you already have an Apple TV device, I would recommend just spending some time getting ...

Re: "Peter Pan & Wendy"
Watched it over the weekend. It's not a bad reimagining of the Pan story. Doesn't really add anything new but it did what they set out to do I think.

Re: Safe in Hell (1931)
I've had this movie for years and still haven't gotten around to it. Sounds like I should remedy that soon.

Re: Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992)
I loved David Lynch's weirdness with Twin Peaks, both show and movie. I haven't gotten around to his reboot sequel series yet though. But I have acquired and watched a 4 hour cut of this film with all the deleted scenes added back into place. That was a long night. Watch the reboot series. It...

I saw the trailer and Peter Pan was always a favorite of mine growing up, so I will definitely be checking it out.

Does anybody know what film this picture comes from please? (And how do you embed the film into the message, rather than provide a link?) I edited the post to add the image tags for you, Belle. Please click the edit button (or quote your own post) to see how it was done for future reference! :) Bas...

Re: Conrad Veidt's Most chilling Performance ?
Could somebody remind me how you post photographs in this forum? Because if we're going to talk about Veidt, I'd like to mention Contraband . Stolen from an earlier post responding to this question from someone else: Below the message box, click Full Editor & Preview to open icon, formatting, a...

Oasis web host change
I don't anticipate any problems with this, but in the next 24 hours our site host (Media Temple) is migrating us to their new owners, GoDaddy. This, I am told, should be a totally seamless process. But in case there are issues and the site is down for a time, this is the likely reason. Should we hav...
