RE:Born FREE
I enjoy the freedom of expression here so much more. I still visit TCM,
but there is such a sense of camaraderie and creativity that I enjoy it so much more here.

Cinemalover, You're right. It might be advisable! I can't watch too many scary movies because they do give me nightmares sometimes...50's and early 60's are fine. But I do love this movie. Romantic place, romantic couple, romantic notions.

I enjoyed Ina Balin's performances a great deal. Black Orchid was a great movie, kind of reminiscent of The Rose Tatoo in some ways. Anthony Quinn was great. I just remember Sophia making all those flowers and how Ina Balin's character shut herself up in her room like her mother did before she died....

I enjoyed Rawhide, too. I remember Eric Fleming had a tragic demise, but can't recall all the specifics. Any one?
Loved the theme song! Enjoyed Paul Brinegar's antics, and, of course,
paid much notice to Rowdy!

Bonanza was never the same without Pernell Roberts! I remember The Virginian because I loved it so much. Doug McClure! OOOooooh! The storylines were more involved and developed when they had the hour and a half format. I remember some of those episodes, and also watched Paladin. Richard Boone had t...

Clint was one of my first true crushes. What a sweetheart! I never heard the story about Van Johnson and a deputy sherriff in Las Vegas? And a composer? What kind of music did he compose?

Dear Mrsl, I, too, still find it difficult to accept that this was Audrey's first film, but I also realize after watching this movie that she was a natural talent in many respects. The first time you are in a movie, and you get to fall in love with Gregory Peck and be a princess? And pull it off in ...
