Re: Robert Osborne Has Died - R.I.P.

Saw this a few minutes ago and thought of you, my classic movie friends. I was not terribly familiar with him but I know he was beloved. RIP

Re: IMDb Shutters Message Boards

I never posted there but spent a lot of time on those boards, especially on the ones for classic films. Got a lot of trivia, links, and information from them. It would be nice if they at least archived the existing ones for posterity.

That last picture. :(

I love that Carrie was buried in a Prozac pill. It's perfect, given her irreverent sense of humor.

Re: Return of a Pain in the neck

I hope you find some classic movie fans eventually! If not, we're still here. :) As Masha said, a Roku could be a great solution for you, if you have reliable high speed internet. There are also a large amount of old films on YouTube. Welcome back, always glad to see more people posting. Feels like ...

Re: Gone With or Without fanfare

Awful time for the family. I can't even imagine how they must be feeling. Carrie Fisher was one of my all time favorites, who I've literally grown up "knowing". From first crush on a movie star as a youngling to appreciating her wit and candidness as I grew up and learned more of her. I've been on t...

I don't really do kickstarters, but I wish them good luck.

Another PT special banner, with a quote from Charles Boyer, shown here with Danielle Darrieux. It was the only quote I could actually find by Boyer, but it's a good one.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?

Been a while since anyone bumped this up, and coincidentally I too am posting about a Tarzan film! In this case, it's the latest effort from Hollywood, The Legend of Tarzan. This movie was probably the closest we have seen yet to Edgar Rice Burroughs novel's version of the character. There was some ...
