^ If those are pictures from the film Sue requested, why don't you post the larger version and I can clean it up - make it clearer and play around with it a bit?

Happy Birthday Charlie Chaplin!

http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/148/148569/folders/229974/1873574Chaplin76.jpg On April 16, 1889 the world received one of the most important individuals of the silent screen era, not to mention a doggone funny guy. Charles Chaplin was by all accounts a genius of multiple talents (acting...

I love this film, and it is one of my favorite noirs as well. I loved Betty Grable and Victor Mature and thought they both did a swell job. I'd not seen much of the work of either of them (I don't get FMC and they both did a fair amount of work for FOX), but this film got me interested in both of th...

This sounds great! Can you find me a photo of Ginger Rogers as Sue Sue in The Major and The Minor? I'd love to have her as an avatar. Thank you! Humm....well, I've not seen that film yet, so I wouldn't know a photo of her in that film if I saw one. However, if someone provides me a photo from...

Wow...there are so many great ones.

Is "Witness to Murder" considered to be a noir?

I love that film - Babs is great, but George Sanders is just so evil! What a tremendous job from him!

But I also really like "Laura"...and "The Narrow Margin"...and several others.

If you write it like that (Repor(t) ), you really DO watch it!

He's great!

For me, this is a no brainer. My favorite romantic comedy, by a LONG, LONG way, is Ball of Fire . Two of my very *favorite* actors (Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck), both of them in roles where they are positively ADORABLE. And a great supporting cast as well. And to top the whole thing off, in the en...

What is your "Crack TV" show?

Okay...this is the thread for 'guilty pleasures'. Shows that you know have no redeeming value whatever, but that you watch anyway because...well, for no reason other than that you can't get enough. My most recent 'crack tv' show just went off the air: The O.C. . This show was crack tv at it's finest...

^ I agree about David Caruso. If he's in it, I flip right on by.

I am also so very, very, very tired of Friends that if I never saw it again I'd be quite pleased. I used to love it, but they let that show go on WAY past it's expiration date...and now it's become annoying as a whole.

Well, I pretty much worship Chaplin...but IMO this is nowhere near his best film. I *do* think it was very brave for the time...and I do think the social message was great. Also, the film had it's brilliant moments. Certainly the monologue at the end was fantastic...and I also love the part where &q...

Want an avatar? Request one here!

Well, one of the neat things about this board is that we can all have avatars now. And possibly banners as well! YAY! :D But of course, not everyone knows how to make an avatar. And others might want an avatar of a particular actor or actress - even using a particular photo they especially like. Any...
