Re: Mini Series. More to come?

Hey there Mr. Movieman.. I enjoy many of the present day "mini's but also some of the "classics" too. I have yet to see an entire episode of The Bible all the way through but the parts and pieces I have seen from some of them seemed really well done. I most like the fact that they rea...

Re: 'Round the World Weather Report

Glad you enjoyed the picture, Kingme. I just feel sorry for my poor husband.. ha. HE is the one who had to dig all that snow out from in front of the door and pile it up there.. twice. Meanwhile.. Re: 'Round the World Weather Report

Weird, we have the exact same sled. Ha.. I bet we don't. That thing is the bane of my existence. ha. It is HUGE.. a big ole (OLD) 14X40 metal building from way back in the 1970's and it is UHHH-GLY ha. It sort of "came with the house" and we just have never done much to get rid of it. The...

Re: 'Round the World Weather Report

One more snow pic for you Jackie.. just to give you a perspective. This is the "pile' from shoveling last week and this week.. and all this snow is just what was in front of the back door on our deck. (that building that you are looking at is a big storage shed that faces the back door.. so the...

Kansas City was a convenient staging post for 1830s wagon trains heading west quote] Hey there neighbor.. I got a rare chance to see a presentation (with a live commentator) at a school I worked at last year and it was ALL about the history of Kansas City and how it went from that whole "wagon...

Re: Virtual Hands Grasped in Prayer For Those in Connecticut...

Thanks for the link, Miss Applegate. I have to say.. ever since this tragedy, I have just been so beside myself thinking of how truly awful it must be for these families. And I agree, it seems even more terrifying to think how the "safety" we always presume our children enjoy, tucked away ...

Re: Virtual Hands Grasped in Prayer For Those in Connecticut...

Crimes of this nature are always horrific.. but even more so when children are involved. Thanks for this thread Miss App...
