thanks!
Just printed off your list of must sees....thanks. Now I need to figure out where to find them (I'm a complete newbie when it comes to silent movies.) I have Woman of Affairs permanently saved on my DVR, and just watched The Kiss . I may be the last one to arrive at the Silent Movies Fan Club party,...

Rudy
Beda, I just caught up on some films I had recorded over the weekend, and saw " Delicious Little Devil" and The Young Rajah . I am now a bona-fide Rudy fan. I have yet to see the Sheik movies, and I have a feeling I'll have to have oxygen once I do.... Your artwork is amazing! A new fan (o...

Herbert Marshall
I'll sign the petition....more than once!!!! If c-scope can fly under TCM's radar by using multiple names (maybe it's someone with multiple personalities...like SCHIZO) then why can't I??? The first time I saw Herbert Marshall was in The Enchanted Cottage when I was quite young, and I thought ...

I have never been a real fan of Grace Kelley's, but I thought she was perfect in this role. She is refined, delicate, sheltered. Her desperately wanting him to flee reflects her outlook on life. If it's ugly or coarse, cross the street or look the other way. I think a sequel would have had Coop runn...

I think my original post came off as sounding whiny, and that was not my intention. I have always been treated with respect on this board. I guess I was just trying to explain why I don't start threads, and don't chime in that much. I love being here, and hope we all post till someone has to prop us...

I probably post enough but there are times the discussion is over my head. I'd like to think my comments have some value. I'm not a big collector so I'm of little help. I think it comes down to having more people (dangerous as that might be) to vary and add to the discussion. There's a risk but I h...

"Pardon our Dust"
Did anyone else see the newest message from the Administrator? Looks like it was posted today, and is an acknowledgment of the ongoing problems. At least someone is finally paying attention!

How to make a T-shirt Quilt
Ben, when you mentioned Music t-shirts, it reminded me of one I would have committed severe damage to own.... I saw it "walking" down the street in Lawrence KS (home of Kansas University-rock chalk Jayhawks!!!) It was a PINK shirt with a picture of Floyd the Barber (Andy Griffith show). I ...

t shirt quilt
Ben, I have a friend who took her daughter's old t shirts and made a memory quilt from them. It was such a success, her daughters friends have all begged for her to make one for each of them.
Wish I'd saved my 2 sons' shirts!
Good luck
