Thanks cmovieviewer!
Holy Guacamole! Victor/Victoria twice in one year.
I've noticed some newer films.
Some 70s stuff (American Graffiti)!
Some baseball too.

Lucrecia Martel’s LA CIÉNAGA is airing again as part of TCM Imports.
I know when it aired a few years ago some posters at the old TCM message boards commented that they found the movie boring.
Not me!
As soon I finished watching, I watched it again ---- which something I hardly ever do with an entire move.

Lots of good stuff in June! I've never seen Makioka Sisters or Judex. Premieres include Eye of the Needle, My Beautiful Laundrette, and Billy Elliot. Purple Noon is on the schedule--Alain Delon fans will be happy to see this.
The Anatole Litvak tribute includes The Long Night and The Journey. Has The Long Night ever been shown on Noir Alley? The Peter Lorre tribute includes Three Strangers and Hotel Berlin, both of which I would be happy to see again. Three Strangers also belongs on Noir Alley, as does a film scheduled in the Rosalind Russell tribute, The Velvet Touch.
What could be more appropriate for Father's Day than the witty choice of The Entertainer; Edward, My Son; East of Eden; and Daughters Courageous? As some of you know, these are all films about not-so-ideal fathers.

Three Strangers (1946) was featured on Noir Alley during the weekend of 7-18-2020. The Long Night (1947) and The Velvet Touch (1948) have not been shown on Noir Alley yet, but would certainly be good additions.kingrat wrote: ↑May 1st, 2024, 6:37 pm The Anatole Litvak tribute includes The Long Night and The Journey. Interesting; could Disney be loosening its grip on the 20th Century Fox film catalog? A girl can hope....cmovieviewer wrote: ↑May 1st, 2024, 2:18 pm In the Now Playing e-mail sent today, TCM has indicated that "Fox Stars" are being featured as the Star of the Month for Tuesdays in June. Re: June 2024 Schedule Posted
So each Fox star gets a couple of movies shown, is that how they are doing it? I guess that way, they can say they covered Fox stars as SOTM w/out spending too much money doing it....

That's what it looks like, based on the June 4 schedule. Unfortunately it might be a few more weeks before they release the rest of the titles. I guess we can hope for a few premieres or some seldom-seen films if we're lucky...

I wouldn't count on it. Probably Fox stuff they've already aired in the past.cmovieviewer wrote: ↑May 7th, 2024, 3:20 pmThat's what it looks like, based on the June 4 schedule. Nothing to write home about. Most, if not all, have been shown before. Not sure about Model and the Marriage Broker. I haven't seen that one. Thanks for posting.

If you are a Thelma Ritter fan, The Model and the Marriage Broker is a must. I think it was shown on TCM once before. Thelma has the leading role, although Jeanne Crain has top billing.
